Big Dawg Party Rentals is looking to hire a full time experienced inside salesperson. Big Dawg Party Rentals is considered by many within the industry to be the fastest growing event rental company in the United States. We are currently seeking a salesperson with a minimum 3 years party/event rental sales experience within the Tri State area. This candidate must be a self-starter with exceptional customer service skills. Great opportunity for growth and upward mobility within a growing and dynamic company.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Must be able to handle heavy volume of customer inquiries via phone and/or email
  • Ability to establish and develop relationships with venues, caterers, planners and other industry professionals.
  • Willingness to serve customers from order inception until completion of event.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized with the ability to manage a large volume of work.
  • Provide alternative solutions to customers when needed.
  • Proactively handle any order, equipment and credit issues before the event is delivered.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relations by ensuring that all customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate freely with supervisors and management on any issues or problems that need further handling.
  • Ability to prioritize consistently with the goal to complete orders by the end of the day.
  • Build relationships with other departments within Big Dawg Party Rentals to provide excellent customer service.
  • Product and operational knowledge must be kept current daily by utilizing inventory tracking system
  • Availability to work flexible day/night and weekend schedules due to the seasonal nature of the party rental industry



Preferred Qualifications:


  • 3+ years' sales experience in party/ event rental industry within the tri state area.
  • Associates degree in marketing, communications, business, art or other related subjects
  • Positive "can do" attitude and team player.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal,
  • Ability to establish and develop relationships with customers, internal and external
  • Problem solver with the ability to identify and handle conflicts timely
  • Timely return of responses to customers, orders and information request
  • Excellent PC skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Prior catering, event planning or other hospitality experience a plus

Flexible schedule with occasional nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Drivers must have clean license.
  • 2 years experience making NYC deliveries.
  • Must be a self starter and a leader.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in USA.
  • Must be able to work nights & weekends if needed.
  • Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.

Must be able to get to warehouse in Red Hook, Brooklyn
